Insights — a private view of how you have actually been working.

See what you capture, what you finish, and how often your Push Point gets the attention you set aside for it. It is calculated in your browser and never leaves it.

What your last 30 days actually looked like

  • A new Insights view, one click away in the ••• menu on both the browser panel and the board.
  • Captures per day for the last 30 days, with a running streak, and a breakdown of where they come from — page captures, quick add, the panel, braindump.
  • Push Point history: your current streak, how many days you set one, and how many days it received the attention you meant it to.
  • Morning Ritual completion across the month, with late-start days distinguished from full runs.
  • Tasks completed per day, your most-used lists and hashtags, and what you decided about carried-over work — deferred, dropped, or made the Push Point.
  • Counts and dates only. Insights never records task titles, notes, page titles, or page URLs, and nothing about it is transmitted anywhere.
  • It reports what happened and leaves the conclusions to you. No day is marked missed, and nothing is scored.

Tasks captured on your phone now appear

  • A page saved from the Traverce Capture app arrives with no date, and the panel previously had nowhere to show it — it reached Google Tasks and then seemed to vanish.
  • Undated tasks now have their own Unscheduled section in the panel, newest first, with a “Show all” toggle so a large backlog cannot bury today.
  • A capture stays undated on purpose. Noticing something is not the same as scheduling it.
  • Opening a captured task no longer squashes its own title and notes down to a single line.

Today's plan travels properly

  • Today's Goal now syncs between your browsers and the Capture app, alongside the Goal Step and Push Point that already did.
  • Setting one part of today's plan no longer erases another. Choosing a goal on your phone and a Push Point in the browser used to leave one of them behind.
  • The browser panel now honours the list filter you set on the board, instead of quietly showing tasks from lists you had filtered out.

Clearer names

  • The board's Altitude tab is now Activity, holding The Week's End and Insights side by side.
  • The carry-over prompts inside The Week's End are now headed “Needs a decision”, which is what each of them is asking for.
  • Importing your data file now restores Insights along with your settings, goals and Push Point history.

Trust what you see — and drive all of it from the keyboard.

Page capture shows you the task before it creates it, deleting is undoable wherever you do it, being signed out looks like being signed out, and everything Traverce keeps on your machine is yours to export, restore, or erase.

Review a capture before it becomes a task

  • Capturing the current page opens a preview first: the page title, the URL it read, the list the task will land in, and the #webpage tag it adds.
  • Correct the title, or decide not to keep it, before anything is created.
  • The preview informs rather than blocks — your task list stays usable while it is open.
  • Deleting a task from the board is now undoable for a few seconds, the way deleting from the browser panel already was. Nothing is removed from Google Tasks until that window closes, so an undo restores the task with its subtasks and position intact.

Export, restore, or clear your local data

  • A Your data section in Settings — on the board and in the panel — writes every Traverce preference and planning record in browser storage to a file you keep.
  • Import that file back and your settings, goals and Push Point history return, so the file is a real backup rather than just a record.
  • Or clear all of it in one confirmed step. Your Google Tasks are untouched and you stay signed in, because signing out is a separate control.
  • The export deliberately leaves out sign-in state, so the file you save never contains a credential. An import only adds and updates, and will not write sign-in state into your browser even if a file claims to contain it.

Being signed out now looks like being signed out

  • Signed out, the board used to render five empty columns, which reads as “you have no tasks.” It now shows a proper sign-in screen with a way back in.
  • If you left the Google Tasks permission checkbox unticked while signing in, Traverce detects it and walks you back through granting access, rather than stranding you at a login screen that could not fix the problem.
  • A connection failure is reported as a connection failure rather than as an empty list, and Retry now tells the two apart.
  • Opening the board no longer flashes an empty board for a moment before the sign-in screen.

A browser panel that keeps up

  • Add task in the panel now opens the same composer the board uses — title, start date, repeat, due date, and list — and the new task appears immediately instead of at the next refresh.
  • A due date or repeat rule set while adding a task is saved with it, and the new task opens on the first click.
  • Link chips are back on panel task rows and in the task sheet, so a captured page is one click from the page it came from.
  • The guided tour and the in-panel guide were rewritten to describe the panel that actually ships.

A panel and board you can drive from the keyboard

  • Open Settings, the guide, or a task, and Tab stays inside it instead of wandering into the board behind. Close it and focus returns to the control you opened it with.
  • Every dialog identifies itself to a screen reader, and so does every confirmation and error message.
  • Turn on Reduce Motion in your operating system and Traverce stops its spinners, progress fills and transitions.
